Helplessness
It's an awful feeling to see someone fall from grace and not being able to do a thing about it. You just stand there from afar watching. Hoping for something that you can do to help that person from falling. But you know you can't no matter how hard you tried.It's even worse when you know that the choice of falling is their's and there's nothing you can do to stop it. And the only thing you can do is to go to the bottom and wait patiently for them to hit the bottom and hopefully it's your hand that they reach out for when they need help.
It hurts to see a friend fall from grace. It hurts even more to see someone you care about fall and there's nothing you can do about it. Not because you don't want to help but you can't due to circumstances and decisions that were made.
