Holidays can be hard

Somewhere along the lines, the final week of the year is always the most looked forward and the most dreaded week of the entire year. Being the most looked forward week as it has not one but two holidays being celebrated within the span of a week, Christmas and the New Year. Within that one week, you get parties, presents (if you're the giving/receiving type), lots of good food, booze and more booze, and you have friends and families and loved ones to share them with. It is the period where people who are away from their family would travel bback just to be with them for the holidays.

But it is also the most dreaded as besides Valentine's Day, this single week itself you would get couples sprouting out like weeds everywhere just on the span of one week. Or rather it would seem that way if you are single. Being in situations like that would always lead to memories of how you had spent your last holiday with a significant other.

This is just a bad article to write when the train of thoughts had been derailed. Bottom line is 'Tis the season to feel like shit if you're single. Luckily, I have party plans so I'll feel less shitty. Well, sort of ....
